A COLORED BOY SEVERELY INJURED. – Yesterday morning a colored boy named Warwick Lomax, about seventeen years of age, got into a difficulty at Mr. W. H. Grant’s factory, on corner of Nineteenth and Franklin streets, with another colored boy, name unknown, who, getting mad, threw a large rock at him. The rock struck Lomax on the left temple and fractured the skull. The boy then ran off, and has not been arrested. Dr. Jackson was called in, and rendered the necessary medical attention. At a late hour last evening the wounded boy was in a very critical condition.
