Sale of Free Negroes. – The City Sergeant yesterday, in pursuance of the judgment of the Hustings Court, sold three free negroes into slavery in front of the City Hall. Sarah Edmonson sold for $980, Ned Patterson for $1,300, and Nat Drayton for $985. The first and last were sold on a conviction for grand larceny. Patterson was sold for persisting to remain in the State after being repeatedly ordered to leave.
