Typescripts of the "Ledger of Confederate Hospital Practice" of Hospitals in Richmond, VA during the Civil War.
From the Confederate States of America Medical Records, 1861-1865 collection, University of Southern Mississippi, McCain Library and Archives; Series III, "Ledger of Confederate Hospital Practice," consists of a single bound volume of notes relating to Confederate hospitals located in and around Richmond and Petersburg, Va. The volume contains 143 numbered pages with scattered pages missing (10 in all). Original page numbers contained in brackets at the top of each page. The ledger probably came from the Medical Director's office, as some of Carrington's inspections reports are duplicated here. Typescripts by Michael D. Gorman, October 2000.
