Cardwell a Suicide, Is Corner’s [sic] Verdict
G. Bradley Cardwell of 2900 block West Marshall Street was found dead yesterday morning in his automobile near the river in the rear of the Tredegar Iron Works. There was a bullet wound in his head and Corner Whitfield returned a verdict of suicide.
Surviving Cardwell are his wife and one son; mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Cardwell, two brothers, J. R. and C. B. Cardwell, all of Richmond. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock at Hebron Baptist Church, King William County.
