THE MARKETS. – The First Market was better supplied with meats, vegetables, fruits, &c., yesterday, than at any time since the change in the currency of the country upset everything. Shad were quoted at fifty cents apiece; meats, twenty-five cents per pound. Vegetables were a shade cheaper. Strawberries and cherries are growing abundant.
