VIRGINIA STATE ARMORY. – GOV. LETCHER has closed a contract with Messrs. JOSEPH R. ANDERSON & CO., of the Tredegar Works, at Richmond, to fit up the new State armory of Virginia, with sufficient machinery for manufacturing annually five thousand rifled muskets, the entire contract to be completed at a cost to the State of $156,000.
