Franklin Stearns, one of Richmond’s wealthiest citizens, died last night in the 74th year of his age. He was a native of Vermont, but had been a resident of Richmond fifty years. He was [???] prominent sympathy with the Federal cause during the late war, and was imprisoned on that account, and in reconstruction Stearnes took a prominent part. He was one of the largest property owners in the city.
