From the Richmond Whig, 4/12/1865
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION. - Richmond will want all the hotel accommodation that can possibly be made available, and for that reason we would suggest that the Richmond House, as well as the Ballard, Spotswood and other hotel edifices, should be given up exclusively to the accommodation of the migratory public. The Richmond House, we believe, is occupied as one of the headquarters of the military authorities.
