DEATHS. – George W. Hitchcock, of the 18th Mississippi, Assistant Quartermaster of the Libby and other prisons, died at Howard's Grove on yesterday after an illness since Friday last, from small pox.

J. Oldham, Company B, 49th N. C., and B. Smith, Company C, 57th N. C., died at Castle Thunder, on yesterday, of pneumonia.
