ARREST OF AN ESCAPED DESERTER. – On Friday night officers Shafer and Perdue, of the Eastern District detectives, succeeded in arresting Jim Lynch, a notorious deserter from the Madison artillery, who had twice made his escape from Castle Thunder. – They found him in Highland Row, Rocketts, where he had been concealed for some time.
