The Vanquished Pugilist in Limbo. – J Marsh Krepps, an ex dancing master, and recently defeated champion in a pugilistic encounter with Wm R Warden, was arrested yesterday by the detectives on the charge of continued absence from his company without leave. It is asserted that in view of the contemplated “mill” which was to take place, Krepps obtained leave of absence from his company; but that since his defeat and the loss of the fair prize for which he contended he has become comparatively desperate, and shows an utter indifference to previous obligations.
