Singular Accident. – A negro man occupying a tenement near the Government horse lot, in the northwestern suburbs of this city, fell from his second story window to the ground on Friday morning last, dislocating his shoulder and otherwise injuring himself. He attempted to close one of the window blinds, and leaning too far out in order to raise the catch, his feet slipped and he was sent headforemost down into the yard. It is said that he was very much intoxicated at the time, which fact may account for his coming off as well as he did.
