City Battalion. – Major Elliott’s Battalion had their regular monthly inspection of arms on the Capitol square yesterday. The battalion mustered unusually strong. The evolutions were credible to the skill of the members as soldiers. The delightful music of the admirable band led by Smith afforded much pleasure to thousands of pleasure-seekers who had congregated on the square.
