Escape from Prison. – A man named William Campbell, said to be a member of the New Orleans Washington Artillery, who was confined in Castle Thunder for desertion, essayed therefrom between eight and ten o’clock on Wednesday night. Campbell, who been but recently arrested after two previous escapes from the same prison, was securely ironed hands and feet, and in a room by himself. His escape without aid, therefore, seems impossible.
