BRIDGE BROKEN DOWN. – Yesterday morning as a big gun was being drawn over the bridge over Chickahominy river, Mechanicsville turnpike, the bridge gave way and the gun was precipitated into the river. Sixteen horses were attached to the gun-carriage, but they were fortunately saved. It is said that the gun was to have been mounted at the Cold Harbor National Cemetery.
