MORTALITY AMONG WOUNDED PRISONERS. – The wounds of many of the Federal prisoners brought to the city are of a very desperate character and although they are favored with the skill of their own surgeons and all the superior appliances which they have at their command, the mortality has been very great. On yesterday twenty deaths occurred among the number provided for at the York River Railroad Depot. Many of them complain of their surgeons, but we suppose the best is done for them which their circumstances will allow.
