The Council authorized the School Board to secure plans and bids for two white and one colored school this year, the entire cost of buildings and sites to be $200,000. Plans will shortly be reported for a white school to take the place of old Bellevue, to be erected on the Van Lew property as soon as the legal formalities for the transfer of title can be complied with.
