Put in the Penitentiary. – The Adjutant-General of the State directed the removal to the Penitentiary, on the 30th of December, of Captain William Gramm, Lieut. Isaac A. Wade, Capt. Thos. Damron, Lieut. Wilson Damron, privates John W. Howe, Isaac Goble, David V. Ambler, Sam’l Pack, and Wm. S. Dills, prisoners captured in Kentucky by the Virginia State forces under the command of Major-Gen. Floyd. It is understood that these parties (all of whom were members of the Abolition army, and active supporters of old Abe,) will be kept in the prison until Col. Zarvona, and other citizens of Virginia now in the hands of the Yankees, shall be returned.
