GENERAL ANDERSON.
Resolutions Adopted by the Employés of the Tredegar Works.

At a meeting of the employés of the Tredegar Company, held recently, the following was unanimously adopted:

Whereas it has pleased Almighty God to remove from our midst our friend and employer, General Joseph R. Anderson; therefore, be it

Resolved, 1. That we bow in humble submission to the divine will.

Resolved, 2. That in the death of our friend we and the entire community have sustained a great loss. To us he was kind, considerate and courteous all through his long connection with us, both in and out of the works.

Resolved, 3. That we tender his bereaved wife, sons and daughters and their families our deepest sympathy, and while we lament ours and their loss, we rejoice in the fact that if we follow the example and imitate the noble Christian character of our beloved friend and employer we shall be united again with him in that home where toil is over and where all is rest and peace.

Resolved, 4. That a copy of these resolution be sent to the family and be published in THE TIMES, Dispatch and Planet newspapers.
