Deans Sets Time For Arguments In Krengel Case

Parke P. Deans, chairman, State Industrial Commission, announced yesterday that he had allowed 10 days to each side in the case of John E. Krengel vs. the Tredegar Company to file briefs after which a decision will be given.

Mrs. John E. Krengel, widow of the 69-year-old patternmaker, who was murdered and robbed last September while working at the Tredegar Company has applied to the commission for $5,000 under the Workmen’s Compensation Act.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Deans will hear 31 cases in the Tidewater area, beginning February 12 in Norfolk. The cases to be heard that day are:
