Tredegar to Work All Day Monday
After many years of observing Washington’s Birthday with a holiday from work, the Tredegar Iron Works, engaged in war production, will operate on a full basis Monday. Edward H. Trigg, general manager, said that the decision came about yesterday after company officials and plant representatives discussed the plea of Donald Nelson, War Production Board director, for war industries to dispense with holidays “for the duration.”
