Plant Watchman Reports Attack
George N. Minson, 65, watchman at the Tredegar Iron Works, reported to police that he was hit over the head with a plank as he was making his rounds at the plant last night by some unidentified man who fled after the attack. The piece of plank used as the weapon was found at the scene of the attack. Nothing was reported missing at the plant.
Nat A. Green, watchman at the T. & E. Laundry, 900 block West Marshall Street, reported to police that he shot at a Negro attempting to get in the rear door of the laundry early today. The Negro escaped down the alley behind the laundry.
