THE RICHMOND POSTOFFICE. – There is no organized or other formidable movement in the Republican party to procure the removal of Miss Van Lew from the Richmond postoffice, all newspaper statements to the contrary, notwithstanding. Strenuous efforts have been made to make out a case against this patriotic and deserving lady, but we are convinced that the efforts are confined to a very few, and are based upon such frivolous circumstances, as to scarcely require any attention whatever.
