THE EXCHANGE HOTEL is being rapidly prepared for the reception of visitors, and paint and plaster are the order of the day. – We learn that it will be re-opened about the 1st of October by Messrs. Carrington and Ford, who experience as caterers to the public taste affords a guarantee that it will be kept in good style. Our town will then be well supplied with first-class hotels, and will be able to accommodate the travelling public in a style unsurpassed by any city in the country.
