HIDDEN FIRES. – At the old coal yard, near the Petersburg depot, we notice that combustion is still going on, as is manifest from the smoke and flame, although yesterday was the ninety-seventh day since the conflagration, and bids fair to burn for some time longer. “E’en in our ashes live their wonted fires.”
