THE ARREST OF MAJOR CARRINGTON, late Provost Marshal of Richmond, is said to have been made on evidence of his complicity with the alleged abstractions of money from the Union fund sent South to relieve Union soldiers, and entrusted to the custody of Ould and Hatch, as Commissioners of Exchange.
