REPORT OF CHIMBORAZO SCHOOLS, RICHMOND, VA., FROM OCTOBER 9, 1865, TO NOVEMBER 1, 1865.

We have received interesting accounts of these schools from the State Superintendent of Education, Rev. R. M. Manly, also from the six teachers of this Association, laboring at that point. These six schools, held in separate buildings of former rebel hospitals, report in all, 345 pupils. There is a large night school of over 200 pupils; also an apartment for the manufacture and distribution of clothing, all conducted by those noble and self-denying ladies. Mr. Walker of Petersburg, has just been transferred to that point, as one male teacher was greatly needed.
