DISTINGUISHED ARRIVAL. – Sunday afternoon the steamer River Queen brought to this port the distinguished Secretary of State, Hon. Wm. H. Seward. Governor Pierpoint, Generals Terry and Turner were on the wharf, on the lookout for the distinguished guest and his suite, who upon their arrival were conveyed to the Governor’s mansion. After several hours spent in the city, in the examination of the most prominent points of interest, the party returned to the steamer, which left for Washington.
