HEAVY EXPLOSION. – About 25 minutes after ten o’clock Monday night, a very heavy explosion, apparently in the direction of Dutch Gap, was heard in the city. The houses on Church Hill were shaken by it. We could hear no explanation of the explosion yesterday.
