From the Richmond Whig, 4/10/1865
MANCHESTER was not at all disturbed by pillages on Monday morning last; neither did the fire reach that trans-James district. A pontoon bridge spans the river now and connects Richmond with Manchester, and we hope business, revived anew, will pervade both sections alike.
