DREADFUL ACCIDENT. - Yesterday evening, about two o'clock, a negro man belonging to Mr. Jas. H. Grant, while at work in the Confederate arsenal, was accidentally caught in the gearing of some machinery in motion and received such terrible injuries that his life is despaired of. His right arm was wrenched off at the shoulder and thrown to a distance, and his right leg was so mangled as to require immediate attention.
