ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. – Two of the Yankee officers at the Libby, were accidentally shot on Tuesday morning. Lieut. Kelly, of the 100th Ohio, was wounded in the neck, and Lieut. G. D. Forsyth shot through the head and killed. The prison guard were loading their guns in front of the prison preparatory to going on guard, when the gun of private Chas. Weber accidentally exploded whilst he was in the act of capping it, the ball taking effect on the officers above mentioned, who were looking out of the prison windows. The testimony of the Yankee officers and others concurred in establishing the fact that the shooting was accidental.
