POLICE ARRESTS. - James Edwards, a soldier at battery No. 3, was arrested yesterday by officer Granger, on the charge of stealing two trunks filled with clothing, the property of Miss Mary Johnson. The trunks were stolen last Friday night from a cart that was passing through Rocketts.
John Camp was arrested by officer Adams for throwing stones in the street, and striking Mr. Richard Lee, shoemaker. Mr. Lee was struck near the left eye, the stone inflicting a severe wound.
