THE SPOTSWOOD HOTEL. - Mr. J. W. Hoenniger, who has superintended the Spotswood Hotel since its opening, has just become the proprietor of the establishment, having leased the building from Mr. Crenshaw, and purchased all the appertenances of the hotel. Mr. Hoeniger is, perhaps, the youngest landlord of a large hotel, in the world, having but recently passed his majority; but he is a host in himself, and possesses the essential qualifications for the enterprise he has undertaken. His unobtrusive manners and genial disposition may perhaps be a disadvantage, in a business point of view, but it is generally found that modesty is the index or associate of merit, and in the end "it will pay," as John Unit would observe. We wish Mr. Hoenniger complete success in his present undertaking, and know that he will strive to deserve it.
