DEATH OF A DETECTIVE. - Old Mr. John Caphart, for many years a policeman in Norfolk, but since the war one of the detectives attached to the Castle Thunder prison, died on Wednesday night of gradual decay. Mr. Caphart was a man of most venerable appearance, and was widely known and much esteemed as an efficient officer.
