THE VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE. - General Smith, of the Institute, informs the Lynchburg Virginian, that all the apparatus, books, maps, &c., belonging to the Institute, were saved, whilst a new supply of books is now at Wilmington, having run the blockade.
