CASTLE THUNDER ITEMS. - In review of an article in yesterday's paper, we take pleasure in stating that no moneys or valuables are taken in charge by the commandant of Castle Thunder post; they are all turned over to Major Morfitt, the quartermaster, the commandants taking a receipt for the same. Captain Richardson, in command of the post, is an officer of most rigid discipline, and, he takes nothing upon himself but the responsibility of keeping the prisoners in his charge securely, and at the same time in subjection. In this he has succeeded wonderfully, and the castle was never in a better condition of order and discipline than at present.
