ATTEMPTED ESCAPE FROM CASTLE THUNDER. – Another escape was attempted from Castle Thunder on Thursday night by several prisoners confined in cell No. 1, on the first floor, north side. They had succeeded in smuggling into the cell pieces of old hoop-iron, with which they loosened some of the bricks in the wall; but they were discovered before they consummated their design, and were each severely punished.
