DEATH OF A YANKEE PRISONER. Isaac A. Rodman, a private in company E., 2d Rhode Island Regiment, died yesterday at prison Hospital No. 1, of typhoid pneumonia. It is a noteworthy fact, and one highly flattering to the professional skill, and administrative ability of Doctor Edward G. Higginbotham, chief Surgeon of the prison hospital, that though diseases of quite a virulent character have been for some time prevalent among the prisoners, the rates of deaths has been less than the ordinary mortality of a general hospital.
