"Distinguished Arrival." – Count Henri Mercier, French Mercier resident at Washington, U. S., arrived at the capital of the Confederate States yesterday, and put up at the Spotswood House, on Main street. This may emphatically be called a "distinguished arrival." We are not advised as to the purport of his visit here. It may Tobacco or Recognition, or both.
