Serious Accident. – As Mr. Valentine Heckler and a servant were driving down Broad street in a buggy, in the neighborhood of the Monumental church, on Wednesday night, about half-past seven o’clock, his horse took fright and dashed off at a furious rate. Coming in contact with some obstruction, the vehicle was upset and its occupants thrown violently to the ground. Mr. Heckler was seriously injured internally, and the negro had one of his arms broken.
