Arrest of a Supposed Spy. – William Johnson, charged with being a spy, was brought to this city yesterday afternoon and committed to Castle Thunder. He was arrested in Charleston, S C., and set down as a disloyal subject in consequence of his inability to produce proper vouchers; but if his statement before the chief of the Confederate police is to be relied on it will turn out that he is a native of Norfolk, Va, and a seaman in the Confederate service, but unfortunately lost his vouching papers between this city and the one at which he was arrested.
