Military Movements. – The 18th Georgia regiment and the 3d Georgia battalion, which lately went from this place to North Carolina, returned on Friday. The Yancey Greys, Captain A. J. Brown, 100 men, and the Jackson Avengers, Capt. W. W. Selman, 91 men, arrived on Saturday from South Alabama. These companies belong to the 14th Alabama regiment, Col. Judge. The 1st North Carolina Regiment, Col. Lee, which has been doing good service on the Peninsula for the past six months, reached this city yesterday, and now occupies quarters on Hospital Hill. This regiment is one of the best that North Carolina has furnished, but their time of enlistment having expired, the men will go home for a brief period, and many of them will probably join other regiments in service on the coast.
