TO SELL VAN LEW MANSION.
The Famous Old Homestead to Be Disposed of To-Morrow.

The famous old Van Lew mansion and grounds will be offered for sale to-morrow afternoon at 5:30 o’clock. Messrs. J. R. V. Daniel and John P. Reynolds, Jr., special commissioners, will dispose of the property, Messrs. John T. Goddin & Co., real estate agents, conducting the sale.

The property consists of a mansion of thirteen rooms, a kitchen of six rooms, and grounds a square in area.

The historic old place will be sold either as a whole or in part. It is possible that sufficient ground will be reserved with the main dwelling, and the residue sold in lots of reasonable size. The grounds of this old home are very beautiful. Ornamental shrubbery and inviting walks characterize the back yard of the place. The view from the back portico, overlooking the upper and lower James and the Chesterfield side of the river, is one of the loveliest to be seen around Richmond.

There is no more admirable location for a sanitarium in the city or entire State. It may be purchased for this purpose.
