…Attendance is being directed to the observance of National Memorial-Day this year (May 30th), and more especially to the decoration of the graves in the City Point cemetery. The ceremonies there are to be somewhat more interesting than usual. An address is to be delivered by Congressman-elect Dezendorf, excursion parties are to be present from Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Petersburg, an opportunity is to be afforded visitors to inspect the monitor fleet at the Point, Farragut Post of the Grand Army of the republic, of Portsmouth, will attend in a body, &c.

The Friends’ yearly meeting in Southampton county, which commenced on Sunday, will be continued throughout the week. A large number of visitors are in attendance.
