INJURED BY A CIRCULAR SAW. – At about 9 o’clock yesterday morning the city ambulance was called to Tredegar Works to attend to a white man who had had his hand dreadfully lacerated by a circular saw. The wound was of such a serious nature that it was found necessary to amputate the hand.

At half-past 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon the ambulance was again called; this time to Tenth and Byrd streets, to attend to a colored woman who had fallen and broken her leg in two places.
