HONORS TO GRANT AND TO THE PEABODY TRUSTEES. – General Grant was serenaded late Tuesday night by the post band.

Last night General Schofield gave the trustees of the Peabody educational fund a fine entertainment at his residence. Many United States officers and their ladies, besides about fifty other invited guests, were present, and the evening was passed in social pleasures.
