From the Richmond Dispatch, 5/15/1863, p. 2, c. 5

TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS REWARD – Will be paid for a pale red and white COW, which had strayed or been stolen from the Matron house near Chimborazo Hospital, two nights since. The tip of her horns had been cut off. The above reward will be paid for any information enabling her recovery. She is six or seven years old, and has left a calf, and belonged to a person by the name of Mickalis, near Rocketts.
