Robberies. – On Saturday morning, a refugee from Suffolk, Va., was relieved of his pocket-book, containing $3,000 in Confederate States notes, while standing in a crowd at the Petersburg Depot. The office of Assistant Provost Marhsal Booker, near Castle Lightning, was entered on Friday night and robbed of several hundred dollars, a pair of Colt’s navy pistols, and a gold watch. No clue was found to the perpetrator of either of the offences named above. Robberies of the above nature are on the increase in this city.
