From the Richmond Dispatch, 7/9/1862
Private E. E. COMBS, Company I, 35th regiment North Carolina Troops, had his leg broken in the battle on Tuesday, the 1st of July, 1862, and is now in the Winder Hospital, third division, ward 91.
